The Blue Meanies belongs in the Panaeolus Cyanescens species of psychedelic mushroom. The main psychoactive elements in this species are psilocybin and psilocin. As a rule of thumb, Panaeolus Cyanescens contains slightly more psilocybin than its close counterpart, Psilocybe Cubensis. They contain approximately 1.00% psilocybin and 0.80% psilocin. This means, that for every one gram of mushrooms, there will be anywhere from 7-30 milligrams of psilocybin and psilocin.
